YOUR ROLE
- This position works for Automotive Components APAC business unit.
- Manage/coach/develop the thermal application engineering team in China to ensure quality deliverables.
- Build strong connection with customers related to thermal application of AMC business.
- Use market and customer analytics to stay up-to-date on evolving industry trends.
- Responsible for customer technical training via appropriate formats: academies, Webinars, at customer site and Henkel facilities.
- Drive development of an end-to-end customer experience from identifying new value propositions to enhancing customer service.
- Leverage customer feedback to align global/regional SBU projects in creating joint value.
- Develop and evaluate KPI results and drive innovation and continuous improvement via data driven decisions and actions.
- Implement continuous process improvement, including policy and procedures.
- Contribute globally and regionally to best practices, academy/trainings, processes/tools.
- Support the team to deliver the APD and ACE projects on time.
- Lead the technical discussion with internal cross-functional team and 3rd parties.
- Effectively communicate to key stakeholders to ensure project progress smoothly within the lifecycle.
- Provide technical training for internal business team and external customers in products and applications.
- Give feedback to and proactively seek it from sales, marketing, PD and innovation.
- Design, improve, and document application engineering processes.
YOUR SKILLS
- Master or above degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in Adhesive and Automotive industry.
- >10 years technical working experience in Adhesive related industry. >5 years experience for team management.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Risk management experience & skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin & English communication.
- Proactive, open-minded and a quick learner.
